WHO WE ARE

HPR is a multidisciplinary student organization at George Mason University (GMU) in Fairfax, Virginia. Positioned at the heart of GMU’s aerospace community, we focus on advanced rocketry research and competing on the global stage at the International Rocketry Engineering Competition (IREC), with our first entry planned for IREC 2027.

Founded in 2024, our growth is led by ambitious projects that challenge students to take engineering outside of the classroom. We value bold initiative, creative problem-solving, and hands-on engineering.
